The exp bar went full and stuck, like it didn't level up even if it's full. I think it only spams you on your first ones, as in the first level of Gliding or the first level of Raptor Mastery. Also be aware that GW2 has many different XP bars. Don't worry about "wasting" experience- this will happen many times as you play the game. If all currently unlocked mastery xp bars are full it will go towards the standard spirit shard xp bar. You can always switch to another mastery that is unlocked and gain XP there, but eventually you'll cap all of them out until you get more points.
